6. Start a Project Enquiries
The Start a Project form allows you to provide initial information about a proposed project.
Submitting the form does not automatically:
- Create a client relationship;
- Appoint GProjects as architect, contractor, consultant or project manager;
- Create a binding contract;
- Require GProjects to accept the project;
- Confirm project feasibility;
- Reserve a project date;
- Confirm a final price;
- Confirm a completion timeline;
- Create an obligation to provide services; or
- Require either party to proceed.
After receiving an enquiry, GProjects may:
- Review the information provided;
- Contact the person who submitted it;
- Request further information;
- Arrange a consultation;
- Request drawings, documents or site information through an appropriate separate channel;
- Arrange a site inspection;
- Decline the enquiry;
- Refer the person to another appropriate service provider; or
- Prepare a separate proposal, quotation or scope of work.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted is:

- Provided with appropriate authority.
Do not include unnecessary sensitive information, passwords, bank details, government identification or confidential third-party material in the project-description field.
7. Project Proposals, Quotations and Contracts
Any project engagement will be governed by a separate written document, which may include:
- A proposal;
- A scope of work;
- A quotation;
- An engagement letter;
- A professional-services agreement;
- A construction agreement;
- A consultancy agreement;
- A purchase order; or
- Another written contract accepted by the relevant parties.
The separate agreement may address:
- Services and deliverables;

- Site access;
- Required approvals;

Unless otherwise stated in a separately accepted agreement, work is not required to begin merely because a website enquiry has been submitted.
Where an initial payment is required, the applicable payment terms will be set out separately.
The website does not currently collect online payments.
Nothing on the website should be treated as a final quotation or guarantee of cost, availability, approval, completion date or project outcome.
8. Workforce Registration
The Workforce Registration feature allows eligible adults to submit professional information for possible workforce, contracting, employment or project opportunities.
A workforce applicant must:
- Be at least 18 years old;

- Have the right to submit the uploaded CV;
- Avoid submitting unlawful or misleading material;
- Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information;
- Obtain permission before listing another person as a referee, where applicable; and

Submitting a workforce application does not guarantee:

GProjects may:

- Project partners.
GProjects will not knowingly publish an applicant’s CV publicly or sell workforce information to unrelated advertisers.

Approval of a comment does not mean GProjects agrees with or endorses the commenter’s views.
Public comments reflect the views of their authors.

- Create misleading derivative material;
- Frame the website in a misleading manner; or
- Use website assets in an unlawful or deceptive way.
Third-party names, logos, images and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Displaying a third-party mark does not necessarily imply sponsorship, ownership or endorsement.
Requests for permission may be sent to:
12. Portfolio and Project Content
The website may display:
- Completed projects;
- Ongoing work;
- Architectural concepts;
- Design proposals;
- Visualisations;
- Renders;
- Illustrations;
- Project photographs;
- Partner-supported activities; or
- Social-impact projects.
The role performed by GProjects may vary between projects.
Depending on the project, GProjects may have acted as:
- Architect;
- Designer;
- Contractor;
- Consultant;
- Project manager;
- Coordinator;
- Interior designer;
- Procurement partner;
- Collaborating partner;
- Sponsor; or
- Support organisation.
Displaying a project does not necessarily mean that GProjects:
- Owned the project;
- Funded the entire project;
- Designed every element;
- Constructed every element;
- Acted as the sole contractor;
- Acted as the sole consultant; or
- Delivered the work without partners.
Where content is identified as a concept, render, visualisation or proposed design, it should not be interpreted as a photograph of completed construction.
Project images, descriptions, statistics and roles may be updated when more accurate information becomes available.
13. Website Statistics and Impact Claims
The website may display figures concerning:
- Clients;
- Projects;
- Workforce activities;
- Social responsibility;
- Community reach; or
- Other company activities.
Such figures are based on company records, available reports or approved internal information at the time of publication.
Statistics may:
- Be rounded;
- Include cumulative totals;
- Cover different reporting periods;
- Be revised;
- Be corrected; or
- Be updated through the website CMS.
A published statistic does not create a contractual promise or guarantee that the same result will occur for another person or project.
Where a user requires a statistic for formal, financial, academic, regulatory or investment purposes, the user should request written confirmation directly from GProjects.
14. G Initiative
The website may describe G Initiative as a social-impact or corporate-social-responsibility platform connected with or supported by GProjects.
G Initiative programmes may involve:
- Community partners;
- Sponsors;
- Government bodies;
- Volunteers;
- Implementing organisations;
- Beneficiaries; or
- Other collaborators.
The existence of a G Initiative reference does not necessarily mean that GProjects was the sole organiser, funder or implementer of every programme.
Users should rely on the specific project or programme information supplied for the relevant initiative.
15. BuildIT and Other External Platforms
The website may contain a link to BuildIT or another related or external platform.
These Terms do not claim ownership or operational control of BuildIT where that has not been expressly confirmed.
GProjects does not currently automatically transfer:
- Start a Project enquiries;
- Workforce applications; or
- Blog comments
to BuildIT.
BuildIT and other external platforms may:
- Be independently operated;
- Have separate functionality;
- Have separate availability;
- Apply their own privacy policies;
- Apply their own terms; and
- Collect information directly from their users.
A link does not necessarily mean that GProjects:
- Controls the external platform;
- Guarantees its features;
- Guarantees its availability;
- Endorses every statement on it; or
- Accepts responsibility for information submitted directly to it.
You should review the terms and privacy information displayed on an external platform before using it.
16. Other External Links
The website may link to:
- Social-media platforms;
- Partner websites;
- Government websites;
- Professional bodies;
- News sources;
- Mapping services; or
- Other third-party resources.
GProjects does not control an independently operated third-party website.
GProjects is not responsible for:
- The external website’s availability;
- Its privacy practices;
- Its security;
- Its statements;
- Its products;
- Its services; or
- Information you submit directly to it.
You access external websites at your own discretion and subject to their terms.
17. Accuracy and Changes to Website Information
GProjects aims to publish useful and accurate information.
However:
- Website content may contain an error;
- Information may become outdated;
- A service may change;
- A project may be delayed;
- A staff role may change;
- An external link may stop working;
- A statistic may require correction; or
- A planned feature may not become available.
GProjects may correct, update, remove or reorganise website content without prior notice.
You should obtain direct written confirmation before relying on website information for:
- A project decision;
- A purchase;
- A construction decision;
- A legal commitment;
- A professional appointment;
- Employment;
- Investment;
- Financing;
- Regulatory approval; or
- Another significant decision.
18. Professional and Project-Specific Advice
General website content is not a substitute for a project-specific assessment.
Viewing the website does not by itself create:
- An architect-client relationship;
- An engineer-client relationship;
- A contractor-client relationship;
- A consultant-client relationship;
- An employment relationship;
- A fiduciary relationship; or
- A professional duty relating to a specific project.
A construction, architecture or development project may require:
- Site assessment;
- Surveys;
- Planning approval;
- Engineering input;
- Environmental review;
- Cost assessment;
- Legal review;
- Title verification;
- Safety assessment;
- Specialist consultants; and
- A separately agreed professional scope.
Do not commence work or make a significant project decision solely because of general content displayed on the website.
More detailed limitations will be contained in the separate Website Disclaimer once published.
19. Website Availability and Security
GProjects aims to keep the website reasonably available and secure.
However, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
Access may be affected by:
- Hosting maintenance;
- Internet outages;
- Software updates;
- Security incidents;
- Equipment failure;
- Third-party service failure;
- Domain or DNS problems;
- Events outside reasonable control; or
- Necessary emergency work.
GProjects may temporarily:
- Suspend a feature;
- Restrict traffic;
- Disable comments;
- Close Workforce submissions;
- Remove content;
- Perform maintenance; or
- Block suspicious activity.
You are responsible for:
- Using an updated device and browser;
- Protecting your own device;
- Avoiding suspicious links;
- Keeping any authorised credentials confidential; and
- Reporting suspected website misuse.
Do not attempt to access restricted administrator functions without permission.
20. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with the GProjects Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains:
- Information collected;
- Purposes of processing;
- Workforce-information sharing;
- Service providers;
- Retention;
- Security;
- Cookies;
- Data-subject rights; and
- Privacy contact information.
Read the Privacy Policy at:
These Terms do not replace or reduce the rights described in the Privacy Policy or applicable data-protection law.
21. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian law.
Where you qualify as a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and other applicable laws.
These may include rights concerning:
- Clear information;
- Fair dealing;
- Accurate representations;
- Service quality;
- Timely performance;
- Complaints;
- Remedies for defective performance; and
- Protection against unfair contractual terms.
Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory legal right will apply.
Any project-specific limitation, cancellation term, refund term, exclusion or allocation of responsibility should be clearly brought to the client’s attention through the separate applicable proposal or contract.
22. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GProjects is not responsible merely because:
- A user relies on general website information without obtaining project-specific advice;
- A website feature is temporarily unavailable;
- A third-party website changes or becomes unavailable;
- A user submits inaccurate information;
- An applicant is not selected for an opportunity;
- A comment is rejected or removed in accordance with these Terms;
- A proposed project is declined; or
- A website statistic or non-contractual description is later corrected.
GProjects does not guarantee:
- That every enquiry will receive a proposal;
- That every project will be accepted;
- That every Workforce applicant will be contacted;
- Employment or project placement;
- Planning or regulatory approval;
- A particular project cost;
- A particular completion date;
- A particular commercial result;
- Continuous website availability; or
- The performance of an independently operated external platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
In particular, these Terms do not exclude responsibility for:
- Fraud;
- Fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Wilful misconduct;
- A breach of mandatory consumer rights;
- Unlawful handling of personal information; or
- Any other liability that applicable law does not permit GProjects to exclude.
Project-specific rights, obligations and liabilities will be governed primarily by the separately accepted project agreement.
23. User Responsibility for Submitted Content
You are responsible for material you submit through the website.
You confirm that:
- You have the right to submit it;
- It is not deliberately false;
- It does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights;
- It does not contain malware;
- It does not unlawfully disclose confidential information;
- It does not impersonate another person; and
- Its submission does not violate applicable law.
Where you submit material belonging to another person, you confirm that you have appropriate authority or permission.
GProjects may remove or restrict access to material where reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law or operate the website safely.
24. Suspension and Restriction of Access
GProjects may restrict, block or suspend a person’s access to a website feature where there is a reasonable belief that the person has:
- Breached these Terms;
- Attempted unauthorised access;
- Submitted harmful material;
- Engaged in spam;
- Threatened another person;
- Misused a form;
- Interfered with security;
- Used the website unlawfully; or
- Created a risk to the website or another person.
Where appropriate and lawful, relevant activity may be:
- Logged;
- Investigated;
- Preserved as evidence; or
- Reported to the appropriate authority.
25. Changes to These Terms
GProjects may update these Terms to reflect:
- Changes to the website;
- New services;
- New forms;
- New legal requirements;
- New service providers;
- Changes to business processes; or
- Corrections and clarifications.
The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
Changes will apply from the stated effective date.
Where a change is material, GProjects may also provide an additional website notice.
Changes to these website Terms do not automatically amend an already signed project, employment or contractor agreement.
26. Complaints
A concern about the website, project-enquiry process, Workforce Registration or another website feature should first be sent to:
G Projects Limited
14 Rumuibekwe Road
Obia, Port Harcourt 500102
Rivers State, Nigeria
Email:
Telephone:
Include enough information for GProjects to understand and investigate the concern.
Where the matter concerns personal information, use the email subject:
Privacy Request
Nothing in these Terms prevents an eligible consumer or data subject from contacting an appropriate regulator or exercising a right available under law.
27. Dispute Resolution
Before starting court proceedings, the parties should, where reasonable:
- Provide written details of the dispute;
- Allow the other party a reasonable opportunity to respond;
- Attempt to resolve the issue through good-faith discussion; and
- Consider mediation or another agreed alternative dispute-resolution process.
This informal process does not prevent urgent legal action where necessary to:
- Protect safety;
- Preserve evidence;
- Prevent unlawful disclosure;
- Protect intellectual property;
- Prevent continuing harm; or
- Comply with a legal deadline.
A separate project or professional agreement may contain its own dispute-resolution procedure.
Where it does, the procedure in that separate agreement will apply to the relevant project dispute.
28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Subject to:
- Mandatory consumer rights;
- Applicable rules concerning legal jurisdiction;
- Any valid dispute procedure in a separate written agreement; and
- Any agreed mediation or alternative dispute-resolution process,
a dispute relating solely to these website Terms may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.
Nothing in this section prevents a person from using a regulator, tribunal, commission or court that has mandatory legal authority over the matter.
29. Severability
If a court or competent authority finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be treated as modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.
30. No Waiver
A delay or failure by GProjects to enforce a provision of these Terms does not automatically waive the right to enforce it later.
A waiver relating to one event does not automatically apply to another event.
31. Relationship With Separate Agreements
These Terms govern use of the public website.
They do not replace a separately accepted:
- Project contract;
- Quotation;
- Engagement letter;
- Employment agreement;
- Contractor agreement;
- Consultancy agreement;
- Partnership agreement;
- Supplier agreement; or
- Other written commercial agreement.
Where a separate signed or accepted agreement conflicts with these website Terms on a project-specific matter, the separate agreement will govern that matter, subject to applicable law.
